Ms. Horner graduated with high distinction from The University of Nebraska with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in 1995. She is board-certified and licensed in the state of Florida. She has previously held licenses in Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri.
Amy has vast experience as a Physician Assistant in many areas including Family Practice and Cardiology. She has spent the last 13 years in Dermatology in the Kansas City area, with an emphasis on preventative care and patient education. In addition to treating patients with acute and chronic dermatological conditions, she is trained in excisions of moles and skin cancers, as well as surgical closures and the administration of Superficial Radiation Therapy.
Amy also enjoys working with patients to develop an individualized treatment plan to realistically achieve their beauty and skin care goals. She has been an aesthetic injector of neuromodulators and fillers for 11 years. Her medical and aesthetic experience complement each other to address her patient’s skin care and anti-aging concerns.
Amy is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society for Dermatologic Physician Assistants. She is thrilled to be relocating to the area with her husband and two Labrador retrievers. She enjoys travelling, especially when it involves one or more of their 5 grown sons.
